Ashton Ballito has state-of-the-art facilities, including an international standard FIH indoor hockey arena, and an FIH international standard astroturf that has already hosted a number of international matches. The Ashton campus accommodates 3 rugby fields, 8 cricket nets, 2 cricket ovals, 5 tennis and netball courts; all under floodlights.
A 10-lane heated swimming pool allows for year-round training under the professional coaching and supervision of qualified Swim South Africa coaches.
The Learn-to-Swim programme is being launched soon, in a specially designed sky pool under construction in the Ashlings phase of the campus.
In August 2021, Ashton launched a High-Performance programme headed by Maryke Eloff. The aim of this programme is to guide, support and provide each student with the necessary tools and fitness to enhance their full potential within the various sporting disciplines.
It also provides for specific team training once a week as well as individual sessions for students to strengthen and maintain muscle body toning and fitness. The programme encompasses complete wellness by including mental health stamina and nutritional planning to prevent burnout and/or injury, thereby enhancing the individual’s entire health and overall performance.
