Ashton is delighted to share some truly outstanding news. Form 3 student Kiara Rajcomar-Ramprsad has been crowned 1st place in South Africa in Treeline Stationery’s Big National Sketch Quest.
Competing against thousands of entries from learners across the country — including participants up to 18 years of age — Kiara’s artwork stood out for its originality, creativity, and impact. Her winning design captured the attention of both the judges and the public and will now be printed on 200,000 exam pads distributed nationwide, giving her work an exceptional national platform.
As part of this remarkable achievement, Kiara will be flown to collaborate with Treeline’s professional design and media team to bring her final artwork to life — a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an opportunity she will cherish for years to come. In addition, she has won R10 000 for Ashton Ballito, and Treeline will plant a lemon tree at the school as part of their Back to Your Roots initiative.
This achievement is not only a significant milestone for Kiara, but also a proud reflection of Ashton’s commitment to nurturing creativity, confidence, and excellence in every learner.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone whose encouragement and support have played such an important role in Kiara’s journey. This moment has inspired her to continue dreaming big and to believe that with passion, perseverance, and the right support, anything is possible.
